Maybe his first or middle name to hand down or a family name from his side?

What's his dads name? You could honor both grandfathers with using their names?

I agree with your DH I don't like William Seth!!

William James is a cute suggestion!
I like John after his dad, I really like William John but don't think he likes it lol he is so picky with names. Ours DS first name is after DP best mate that passed away

Why not ask him to come up with a list of middle names you can choose from?

William John is cute I'm sure his father would be honoured if you used it

I'm gald somone else is having an issue with this! William John is very classical and would have a greater meaning for you but I do like William Dean too for a more edgy feel. I'm 98% sure of Connor for my son's first name and am unsure of a middle name for him.

If I had a boy this time I would have called him Will

If you have a long surname I would choose a short middle name. If you have a short surname I would choose a long middle name.

    I like:

    William Mason
    William Daniel
    William Xavier
    William Rhys
    William Patrick
    William Pierce
    Willaim Darcy
    William Austin
    william Heath
