    Default First Mother's Day :D

I am looking forward to spending my first Mothers Day with my beautiful son and DH as well as my mum, dad and sister. It will make my mum's day to have her daughters and grandson all spend the day together on Mothers Day
Not sure what my husband has planned exactly but hoping for cooked breakfast, lots of cuddles, lunch as a whole family and then a quiet evening curled up on the couch with a good book.
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

No plans yet but I would love to spend it with my hubby, three children and my Mum having a yummy lunch and a glass of champagne. I can't see any laundry or housework on the agenda for the day either.

First Mothers Day for me this year with my beautiful 6 month old!!! Hoping for a sleep-in and am going to start dropping hints to DF for a massage/facial voucher
Each year we do a mothers day afternoon tea with my mum and her sisters and all of my female cousins. It'll be lovely to be one of the mummies there this year!

I'd love for my hubby and the kiddies to hand make me something special - like a card or photo frame for the fridge. And maybe take me to my favourite restaurant by the beach for breakfast and go for a walk along the beach with them. It would make for an amazing mothers day! All my favourite things!

    Nothing really special.

6am Get up nice and early.
Wake up little ones and give them breakfast.
7am Set off to go fetch bigger one's from their Dad's place.
8:45am drop the oldest ones at home, collect the little ones.
9am church, sunday school and creche.
11am supervise children running around with their friends after church.
    midday return home for lunch
2pm take children to visit their Nana (my mother) in nursing home
4:30pm stop off at the fruit shop on the way home.
then it is the normal dinner, bath, and bed routine before school tomorrow.

Thanks everyone! I need to get some of my Mother's Day plans in order - last year we went on the City Cat down the Brisbane River and then went on board the Endeavour (that was docked at Eagle St Pier). Lovely day - with no cooking! This year, it's going to be the day after my SIL's 40th Birthday Cocktail Party - so I reckon a lie-in and hangover cure will be the order of the day

Random winner - with a lovely description of her hoped-for mother's day - is Poppy30! I'll send you a pm!

Hopefully a lovely breakfast in bed made by my kiddies, like last years vegimite on toast with strawberries on the side and a cute little sign 'happy mothers day' stuck on top!
Then a nice lazy day snuggled in bed! Perfect!
