I don't lock it and i usually send DD1 in to pay anyway ..... And guess what sometimes i leave them in the car if i have to pay by card and dp isn't with me..... We are known in the area so i feel safe. But i never leave my kids in the car while i shop...... Rahhh to that lady a few days ago... Going in side to pay for petrol 3 Mtrs away is different to going inside for 20 mins and not physically being able to see your children....

Always. I usually leave my handbag in the car and just take my wallet in to pay, so that leaves my phone and other valuables unattended in the car.

I don't trust the general public!

I never used to until a friend of mine who works for police told me that theft from service stations was surprisingly common, including outright car theft - apparently a lot of people don't just leave the car unlocked but leave the keys in the car too!

After that I always locked the car and took my handbag with me, and now its become habit.

No. My car is a silver sedan, therefore invisible.
