We found out that we were having a boy when I was 20 weeks pregnant and it still took until he was three days old to name him!

When I was pregnant with my first I was convinced she was a boy and we didn't even consider girls anything until the 20 week scan confirmed she was a girl.

I really wanted Oscar when I was pregnant with DS but DH didn't. When DS was born he asked me if I wanted to call him Oscar and I didn't. It didn't suit him at all. We named him something we had only very briefly discussed. DH's massage therapist mentioned it to DH and then he was telling me the story, we both said no to it. but it suits my little boy so much, I couldn't imagine him being called anything else!
If you can't agree on a name don't stress. We just gave our babies nicknames in Utero...DS's was daisy, much to my mum's distress!

My DS2 was going to be Oscar as well!
He's C.lancy Jeremiah and DS1 is H.amish Joseph - so I think those are awesome names!

I know a little Ruben that gets Roo and he's very very gorgeous!

I like all your names though all the lochlans I know are very naughty... Sebastian and Caleb are great names. What about Jack that gets Jacks if you like more traditional names but still want the nickname Jax?

    I like Banjo

My favourite boys name is Harper (DS1)
I also like Jude, Grady, Leo, Archer...

I agree with you that girls names are much easier. I've never had a daughter but could easily name 20 lol
