To properly and gently clean your pillows run a Lukewarm bath with some woolwash and a capfull of tea tree, lavender, eucalyptus oil. Press down on the pillows in the water with hands or feet for a while, then use clean water to rinse off. Dry flat in the sun for as long as you can and you have beautifully clean and allergan free pillows :-)

IMO the best moisturiser is one i mix up myself. I use coconut oil, rosehip oil and vitamin E serum together in a little jar, it is fantastic for my skin and a natural suncream!

Now, I haven't done this myself, but I believe it is very effective:

If a person is unwell (eg: has a cold) you can cut an onion in half and place a half against the sole of each foot inside a sock at night before bed.

It apparently draws out a heap of germies etc.

And I think it's also helpful to put a freshly cut onion on a plate on the bedside table of the sleeping sick person.

Onions supposedly soak up all sorts of nasties and therefore we should not eat an onion that was cut yesterday. Just fresh ones only.

To rid your cups from annoying coffee and tea stains wash with a scourer and plenty of salt.

Also denture whitening tablets and bicarb & vinegar work well
