Ohhhh when we moved the removalists put labels on EVERYTHING including my timber dining table, chairs and bedside tables. I cant get it off without ruining the finish. I must try this, thank you.

And if that doesn't work a mix of coconut oil and bicarb should.

If you've dropped an egg on the floor, cover it with salt, leave a minute or two and it's much easier to clean up- virtually becomes a solid piece.

If you get one of those bluey colored watermarks on your wood table, place a soft cloth on top and lightly rub a hot iron with no steam on top. It'll slowly disappear.

if you get your mobile phone reall wet the best thing you can do in order to try and save it is to take the battery out immediately and leave it out until it has dried out completely. It stops the current of electricity running through your phone and helps to stop it corroding.

And put it in a container full of rice, it draws the moisture out!

Water stains on solid wood furniture can be fixed by putting some mayonaise on and leaving it for a few minutes.

Soda water is awesome at getting red wine and any other stains out of carpets. The fizzier the better (so keep an unopen bottle in the cupboard). Pour soda water on, put wad of paper towel or an old towel and apply pressure.

A well known washing powder/liquid manufacturer sales person once told my dad that you only need half the amount of washing powder/liquid to what it says on the box/bottle. He said they tell u to use more so u buy more. It apparently also adds extra years to the life of your washing machine too.
