    Default Ugh..hemmorhoids

13 weeks post birth and I've got a nasty case of hemmorhoids. I didn't think I'd have to worry about this post birth problem as I had a Caesar but guess I was wrong!

I've never had them before and never realised how painful they were! I've taken Nurofen Plus and got a cream that apparently has a local anaesthetic to relieve pain..and nothing! I cannot sleep because I'm in so much pain and so uncomfortable.

I tried a warm bath this evening (been googling madly for any possible treatment/relief) and this didn't help at all either.

So I'm wondering if this much pain is normal?
    Are there any magical cures?
Should I be making a trip to the doctor before the extra long Easter weekend??

I normally poop before I shower so I just make sure none are poking out then but found the above link helped more than the cream & suppositories.

With mine my obstetrician told me to take stool softeners, drink pear juice, eat lots of fruit and use cream. I started seeing results with my hemmeroids after 3 days, they shrunk quickly and if they were too painful I soaked in a hot bath. You can buy rubber rings with a hole in the middle that you sit on so you don't feel them as much.
