    Default Nickname for Clementine?

Clementine seems to be a 'love it or hate it' name, which I really like.
But I don't like Clem or Clemmie for a nickname.
Can anyone think of other nickname possibilities?
Do you think people would automatically call her Clem?

I know one Clementine. She gets called Clemmie (by her parents and everyone else). I think it is a horrid nicknames, sort of reminds me of 'clammy'.

I think Clementine is a gorgeous name but I couldn't think of a decent nickname (and it is such a long name that it WILL be shortened), so it was struck off our list

As harsh as it sounds I think you should just pick another name if Clem and Clemmie bother you, because they are the names she will undoubtedly be called.

I actually agree, DD was going to be Clementine at one stage until I just really couldn't handle the clemmie thing..

Emme, cleo and Mintie spring to mind.

It's a name on my list if we ever have another and frankly if I wanted her called only Clementine i'd only call her that. I have a long name and have only ever been known by that.
