    Default So frustrating.....

Due to an argument not saying with who but I have enquired with the police anonymously and was told its just *****y women acting like teenagers and just block and forget about, it ****es me off how someone slanders ur name and can say untrue things about you and the only avenue u have is to block them or be rich enough to sue them, but whats the point when their as poor as u. I don't give a **** anymore I think a fresh start and maybe moving to a new area would be a good idea, Geez i reckon celebrities have it easy, one mean sentence gets said about them in a magazine and they can sue them, lol definately far from real life. oh if only life where as easy for everyone else.

I suppose the police have better things to do than waste their time with trivial disputes on a forum.

Maybe you should just take their advice?

Slander is a civil issue, nothing a police officer can do about civil issues.

Calling the police because you have had a disagreement with someone on the Net is all kinds of wrong. What did you think they would do? Go and arrest those who you are arguing with.

It sounds like you have a lot more going on then a dispute with some members on a forum. Perhaps some self reflection is in order.

From the other threads, is the story that you have had some falling out with your due in group on facebook?

I just can't see the larger impact on your life. It's a closed group. It's unlikely you know any of these people in real life. How does whatever gossip they may have between themselves affect you in a greater sense? It would be different if they published your name on the Internet with these accusations making them forever googleable.

While I'm sure any dispute is hurtful, the most productive course would be to put it behind you, and stop bringing it over to bubhub.

Of course, it would be different if people were continually contacting you with messages or in real life. But if that was the case, and it was unwelcome, it may amount to stalking, to which the police may be able to help you with.

As an aside, do facebook due in groups become a hotbed of rumour and scandal over time? I am a member of one that has only been going for a few months, and it is 99.99% about scans, nurseries and pregnancy symptoms. I need to come to bubhub for my much needed conflict.
