    Thanks for the info ! really appreciate it . I asked the pharmacist today and he said they dont stock angel cream as people tend to prefer emla. he said with the age limit, below 3 months they advise not to but after that its pretty safe, often doctors in hospitals tend to prefer it .

    Why dosen't everyone stop making such a big deal about this ? Everyone has their own personal experiences etc & have formed their opinions based on that but all the OP was really asking about was wether to use the numbing cream or not, not IF her daughter was an appropriate age based on other's opinions & blah blah blah, i'm sure she is old enough to decide what is is best for HER daughter without people getting on here & being judgemental & rude & i'm sure she was able to make a decision by now judging from the number of responses ...

    OP - Have you had your daughter's ears pierced yet ? I hope she went ok & i bet her earrings look gorgeous

    Thankyou for that pikphantom !! Im getting them done after the easter break. I did get the emla cream ..no harm in using it and it'll help with the pain
