Hi, my DS, age 5 has recently started speech therapy for a Mixed Receptive/Expressive Language Delay . Any advise as to what you all do at home to help your little one's?

    Hi all,

I know this is an old thread but I was struggling to come to terms with the fact that my daughter has speech and language delay. I was so glad to stumble across this thread and find I'm not the only one. Seeing as this is quite old I'm sure your little ones are now well into their school years...is anyone able to give an update on their child/children?

My kids are still in speech therapy, but are doing great and have gone from severe to mild.
