Nope. I wouldnt want some person to smack my child at all and there is no way in hell I would smack another persons child. It is as simple as that.

When I was a kid (bout yr 2) I watch another parent smack a child that wasn't theirs because this child pushed her child off the swing at school. Even as a child I thought this was wrong and till this day I remember it very clearly

No I wouldn't smack anyone else's child. I wouldn't let anyone smack mine. My mum smacked my cousin once. Oh boy, did it cause a rift for a while. My cousin was a very naughty child, but still no excuse. If she smacks my son I don't know how I could restrain myself. I know she thinks I should smack occasionally, but that's not how I choose to parent.

I dont smack my own kids so id never ever smack someone elses.

Depending on who, how and why someone else smacked my kids my reaction would range probably somewhere between a very very stern talking to followed by probably not having much more to do with them and calling the police.

My mum has smacked my DD, which I am fine with. I think only once though. Look I wouldn't like a random friend or acquaintance doing it, but if my sister in law or cousin felt it necessary to smack her I wouldn't be upset.....

No, smacking some one else's child is crossing the line. No if's or but's.

I don't smack and if anyone dared smack my child they would be up for assault charges no matter who it was.

I don't smack my own, and would never smack someone else's. Although being a child care worker I have been asked by parents to smack their children if they are naughty but I never would and if they don't agree with my stance on not smacking they can very well go speak to my director.
