Default *spin off* Smacking other peoples children

Have you ever? Will you ever? How do you feel about others smacking your child?

No way would I do this. If someone did this to my child I would be horrified.

I don't agree with smacking ANY child.

If someone smacked my child I would be absolutely livid.

I don't get to a point where DS is so out of control that I feel the need to strike him, I doubt I'll ever get to that point with someone else's child.

I have never, nor will I ever, smack somebody else's child. I believe there are better ways to discipline a child and would do so accordingly. Even if the mother gave me permission to smack the child should they miss behave, I would not.

However, I'm not fond of other peoples children so couldn't imagine myself looking after someone else's child at this stage, with the exception of 3 little people who I love and care for them a lot.

If someone smacked my child, I would be furious. I mean, beyond furious. For me, if someone else smacked my child, then I would probably view it as a form of physical abuse. I would probably have to refrain from smacking them back...

I'm a nanny. No WAY would I ever EVER smack my own child much less anyone else's.

I cringe when I see someone smack a child. I've been told I can by parents, but I won't ever touch another person's child like that.

I believe it is counter-productive and ineffective, and use 1,2,3 magic with my charges or redirection if they're too young for that.

I strongly believe any smack is abuse and would never ever hit my child let alone someone elses.
If someone dared to hit my child I wouldnt hesitate to have them charged with assault.
