    Default Breakfast

What should I be trying to give my DD (21 weeks) for breakfast? I've tried rice cereal which she doesn't like (after trying it myself I don't blame her!) TIA

Edited cos DD pressed send before I'd finished!

I used to put some purée in it although I started feeding DS dinner first, the rice cereal just helps the purée become a little bit thicker with a nicer taste, the consistency changes with how much purée you put in etc. Have you tried any type of purée yet? I can't remember at what age I swapped it for wheat bix, but I think it was around 6mths. There are also some flavoured farax too my son loved the banana but again I think they start that at 6mths.

DS has 4 ice cubes of a mixture of pureed apples, pears, peach, berries etc with a tablespoon of porridge. Followed by some yoghurt, or a piece of banana or some watermelon.

We are going to try scrambled egg and wheat bix next.

I tried rice cereal too and decided not to give to to DS, it's yuk!

If you are interested in BLW you could try slices of avocado, banana, pear, steamed apple, toast fingers with banana or avo.
