This thread has had me in stitches! When I checked back in for more funnies and noticed it had gone a bit quiet, I checked out the link BluePixie(?) posted and had another half hour of trying not to wet my pants!

My brother is the best at gifts.

One year for Christmas (when I was 16) he bought me a back scratcher that read "50 and itching to be 18 again" lol and when you scratched your back it made this spine shivering laugh and that part that you scratched with was a hand with red nail polish eeek!

Then for my 18th birthday, he came by and took me out to lunch at this really nice expensive place and well when it came to paying the bill he said "you got it sis, i'll go start the car" cheers brother.

Dh bought me a magazine and a scratchy for my birthday one year. I got it after he finished work. I asked him if he forgot and he was adamant that he hadn't :/ lol (we usually spend big on presents)

my ex hubby got me for my birthday, a hairdryer (already had 2!!!) and a bunch of flowers with $3.99 reduced sticker on it... AND the best (worst) of all..... he'd wrapped up the hairdryer in wedding paper.. and then he gave me the rest of the roll of wedding paper. needless to say, i was not too thrilled.

Last Christmas our in laws didn't do presents because they were too 'poor'. Must have been the two overseas holidays, two new cars and extension on your house that made you 'poor'. For my birthday they gave me a casserole dish. Thanks. I hate cooking.
