    I took motilium and now using blessed thistle and brewers yeast. It is not an indication of being a failure or anything I felt the same but am desperate to bf so will continue to do whatever I can until fs doesn't want his b00bie time anymore. Good in you for doimg what you can

    I felt exactly the same when I started taking it with DD. I'd tried every herb/food/technique up until then and it was like me admitting that my body just couldn't do it by itself. I really struggled feeling like I should've been Darwinised if I couldn't even feed my own baby.

    What helped me was the realisation that we evolved living communally. In the past if a woman didn't have enough milk it was no big deal, just hand the baby over to a sister/cousin/etc with heaps of milk.

    Don't feel bad about taking motilium for one second - it's proof of your determination and you can be so proud of that!

    Not a well toddler, thank goodness for boobies on the couch watching movies in our pjs. She gets grumpy though and tells me to "go" and shoves me and then looks sad and says "boo!" I think she'd be happiest if boo could detach and be left alone.
