    Did the cardinal really just blame atheists for the holocaust? As in, that it was an atheist movement? That's absurd.

    This is very interesting. I was pleased to hear Pell describe Adam and Eve as a mythological metaphor rather than truth.

    As was I...and I found Dawkin's remark interesting (regarding the origins of original sin if that's the case).

    Pell has not convinced me to become a Christian again. I was hoping he would give a clearer answer to the question about why God allows suffering. Actually, I didn't find any of his explanations very convincing.

    I like that he clarified that Adam and Eve is a metaphor. I would be keen to know how Christians feel about his comment, as I didn't think the story Adam and Eve, and original sin, was generally viewed as a metaphor.

    I enjoyed hearing Dawkins speak. He appeared a lot more confident of his assertions and was quite respectful, I thought.
