Default Do u feel differently about eating baby animals opposed to adult animals?

Do u feel differently about eating baby animals opposed to adult animals? Or is it all much if a muchness? If you dont like eating baby animals, at what age do you consider the animal old enough to eat?

I was just reading about broiler chickens - the ones you're most likely eating if you buy/eat chicken - and although I knew they were mostly killed around 6 weeks old, I never really considered how they really are just babies.

I guess it's well known that lamb and veal come from baby animals ie

    - Theres a few different labels of lamb which can be anywhere from a few weeks to a year old when slaughtered.

    - Veal can come from calves slaughtered from just a few days old to around six months of age I believe.

Its just not something I ever thought about in depth and I wondered what most meat eaters think about it.

Never thought of it like that before. I just thought meat was meat.

I can't eat lamb or veal but I know it's more mind over matter. I have had lamb (when I didn't know) and it tasted good lol.

That's what turned me of eating meat, we visited a dairy farm for school in year 10, until then I had no idea that they take the little male calfs from the dairy cows and slaughter them for veal , In theory it is totally natural to kill food to eat it and I get those that do ( DH and DS) but I just can't! (25 years later!)
