I take bioceuticals pre natal with iron, vitamin c in powder, vitamin b and vitamin d. The bioceuticals pre natal is the only one I've been able to tolerate without feeling ill.

    I only take Folic acid.

I think elevit is a con! Read the back of the packet and look what's in it. Nothing can replace a good diet.

I am commencing my preconception healthcare, preparing for baby number 2 and looking at all the vitamins again. With Baby no.1 I alternated elevit and blackmores gold to stop the constipation.

I would take individual vitamins based on deficiency only. I took prenatal multivitamins not knowing my copper levels were actually too high. Copper accumulates. This was harmful to my health and potentially my pregnancies. Be careful.

Every day I took 3x Thorne multi, 2-4mg vit C, magnesium, fish oil (helps prevent baby brain!) Vit B complex, 2 x pro-biotic.

A well balanced diet is all well and good, but fruit and veg these days have so fewer vitamins than they used to, due to poor soils from over farming and super fast growth. So I think a good supplement/s is important when pregnant.

So many health issues can be related back to pregnancy nutrition. I mean, what you ingest and your body stores is what your baby is made of!

Hi Tandon, can you tell me what the herb is? I take elevit and I suffer vertigo, and have been feeling a bit off colour lately. Thinking it might be that.
