My hubby has an interview for a job in Mackay on Monday, just as a starter I have been looking at realestate there but am unsure of the suburbs and the best places to be looking at buying. Has anyone got any advice on the best parts to live in? Thanks

I live in Mackay.... it all depends what ur after. I live in south/east Mackay which has both a new area and the older area. Mount pleasant, north Mackay, beaconsfield and andergrove are ok. Slade point is touch and go, The nicer, but more of a drive to town suburbs are bucasia, eimeo, blacks beach and shoal point.
