Subbing for tips
We're booked in to a Calmbirth course. Two (very sensible, rational) friends have highly recommended Hypnobirthing.
I've already had my bub. I've used breathing (you have to work out the timing but for me i had to breath in before the wave come in and breath out in each wave, each of my cx had several waves ), then i used images - closing my eyes and imagining spinning in the forest looking up at the tree tops - thats what i used to do as a child (im from europe). I was induced so couldnt use the bath and shower effectively but hypnobirthing helped to stay calm. I listened to the cd as well but couldnt remember any other stuff like relaxation 1 to 5, massage etc just went out of the window
And heat pack on my back-that practically stopped back pain every time.
Ps i lasted 36 hrs before epi and only got it cos i was exhausted and still only 5-7cm
