I was left with pretty bad abdominal muscle separation after my pregnancy with my first child. I had a natural birth and wore a belly bandit wrap for about 8 weeks afterwards but didn't seek any physio treatment or do any gentle exercises.
I am now 20 weeks pregnant with my second and my abdominal muscles are really sore and my belly is quite big given I am only 20 weeks. My obstetrician said that the only thing i can do is wear my belly bandit again after bubs is born and get physio treatment. Does anyone know if there is anything I can do/wear during this pregnancy to help with the pain and help prevent the separation getting any worse?
