I always adore finger sandwiches. Very simple, but always a hit for me!

I always do a cobb loaf that is the first thing to go- let me know if you would like the recipe
I also always do a platter of carrot sticks, celery, plain doritos, savoys, cucumber sticks, cheese cubes, kabana etc and serve with mild salsa and a nice mild dip like spring onion. Yum!
They're my main hits and they're really easy to throw together

At DS party ( lunch) we had 10 kids, 20 adults and they ate the lot!
    We made everything;

    Sausage rolls
    Soy/maple chicken drummettes
    Avocado and prawn toasts
    Brushetta
    Antipasto platter
    Tuna/eggplant croquettes
    Tzatiki/hummus/ guacamole dips
    Chicken/mayo/lettuce mini rolls
    Prawn/rocket/seafood sauce mini rolls
Fairy bread and nutella fairy bread
    Choc crackles
    Honey joys
    Fruit salad

We prepped it all the night before and make the choc crackles/honey joys the rest we made that morning , the sausage rolls and chicken I took to the park just from the oven and had them in a food warmer, the rest of the food was cold, we made it all finger food as it was easier!

At DS's party, "we" (note, my sister) made:

    Homemade sausage rolls
Homemade dips (guacamole/hommus/tzatziki) with pita bread & vegie sticks for dipping (carrot/celery)
Cob loaf (ALWAYS a huge hit)
    Finger sandwiches
    Cupcakes
    Fruit kebabs
    Punch

Sometimes when I have friends over, I will bake some ricotta & spinach pastries (note: bake - not make haha). My sister also does an easy dish which is a hit - it's basically just squares of puff pastry with ricotta cheese or similar smeared on and a circular piece of tomato in the middle. Really yummy and easy.
