Menevit and also coq10 tablets apparently can help...dh is also taking other supplements which are supposed to improve count and motility, however make sure you speak to a professional about what can be taken as some may not be safe to take combined with others hope that helps hun

I was surprised to learn that anti depressants damage sperm.

Dp started taking sperm max two months before we conceived. This was after our 4th cycle of clomid in 9 months and 3 years if ttc.

Good luck , a snuggle holiday to the snow with the two of us helped as well :-p

    Thanks for your help ladies.

Unfortuntly DH can't take Menevit and other vitamins due to his heamochromotosis. . I imagine it will be the same with other supplements but we will definetly look into it.

Whats more, he doesn't take any anti depressants. Due to his condition he hasn't even had alcohol in 3months (not that he use to drink much before this anyway). He doesn't take any other drugs either. He's a flippen saint haha, it doesn't seem fair.

The Dr's only suggestion was a healthy diet with lots of fruit. 'An apple a day...' We admitt we need to get more active also so we are getting strait onto this. Does anyone know of any other natural remedies that might help?

    Thanks for your support everyone.

We are going away for a night on Friday as an early 1st Anniversary gift to one another. It's not a holiday but will be nice to have some time together, not worrying about anyone or anything else.

Can't he just take some of the key ingredients separately like zinc and selenium?

My stepdad has this condition, he manages it by regularly giving blood.

I would double check that info about not being able to take menevit due to haemochromotosis. My hubby has haemochromotosis and Fertility Specialist still recommended to take menevit - as it does not contain iron. Hubby has been on it for quite some time now and it hasn't affected his haemochromotosis levels at all. Other multi vits that contain iron should obviously be avoided. I would at least get him to take zinc tablets though if not menevit.

Thanks Kellbell, we will certainly look into getting him to take the zinc then. Are their tablets that just have zinc? Our Dr said not to take menevit because it has loads of vitamin c which he is supose to avoid.

We will look into this selenium too thanks Pru. My DH has blood taken every few months. Here in QLD its a lot of paper work to actually 'give' the blood, as only parts of it can be used, so he hasn't done that since being diagnosed but use to give blood often.
