    Hi there,

Just wondering if there are any Mummies in Cessnock looking for some new friends.

We have recently moved to the area and i am hoping to meet some other Mums for play dates, walking, coffee or just a general chat!

I have 2 littlies, 3yr old DS and 8mth old DD, and would love to meet some new friends in the area

Why don't you come to Koe-nara playgroup during school term?! It's a government funded (ie free) playgroup that operates on the Aberdare primary school grounds on Mondays (10am - 12pm All ages 0-5 welcome) and Tuesdays (10am - 11:30am ages 18mths - 3years). You and your children will meet new friends and the activities there are great and always changing to keep the little ones' interest.

    Hi there KMM,

I am also in Cessnock. I have a 2 1/2 year old and another bub on the way due August. I am wanting to meet other mums in my area too, so i don't need to travel as much as i take my boy to Toronto Playtime some Fridays but would really like to make some new friends.

Let me know if you'd like to meet up with me sometime :-)

    Hey Panther :-)

If you would like to email me jaimeebaxter1@gmail.com it will be great if we can organize a day to meet somewhere? Have been wanting to meet new friends for a while now, glad there are other mummies out there in the same position :-)

To AngelaR, Maitland is about 30 mins away which i normally travel that distance for Playgroup in Toronto. I'd rather stay local if i can help it, do you come this way often?

    Hey Ladies.
I live in Cessnock and my lil girl is 8months old now. We just started at Gymbaroo at Maitland and i can tell you now, it is amazing!!! We've met lots of new Mothers and Bubs and have lotsa fun. A playgroup in Bellbird has also been recommended to us. My lil girl is quite the social butterfly and her lil friend is moving away soon so we have also been looking for new friends and are happy to meet up with anyone that is interested

Hey, is there anyone else who would still like to meet up in 2013? Moving to Cessnock with my soon to be three year old daughter. Are there any activities that you guys can recommend? Are there any toddler dance classes in the area? I don't drive, so that's awkward.

Hi Missbean. A lot of families, including myself and our 1yr old daughter go to Koe Nara Playgroup (at Cessnock Public School) and Bellbird Playgroup (at Bellbird Community Hall). There is also a group that organise park dates and stuff on facebook:

Hope it helps. Goodluck with the move
