Thinking about a third in 2013?

hey im kait and i have two children already and i really want one more i want to fall pregnant in 2013 in about september we have two children already DS will start prep in 2013 and DD will start in 2014 thats why im thinking it would be the ideal time to have another while the kids are at school and not all at home? i want to save some money first before we even fall pregnant so we have enough for me to stay at home for a year and buy everything for the baby as we got rid of everything or have given it away to pregnant family my son would be 7 and my daughter 6 is that to big of a gap? has anyone got this gap and how do you find it i work in childcare so i love children and really want one more then i feel my family would be complete thank you for taking the time to read my post and any advice you have would be appreciated thanks mummys

OMG that is exactly my plan! I have 2 already DS starts prep in 2014 and DD in 2015 so I really want another when DS starts prep! Only difference is I've kept all my baby stuff. :-)

one of my sisters is 6 years younger than me. It was too much of a gap for us to be that close growing up but we are close now we're adults and in similar life stages

I dont see why its too big of a gap otherwise. It will certainly make your life easier than close together

I think its a good gap. I have 6 years on my little sister and anothee 6 years with my older sister. And Im close with both of them and the 12 year difference between my sisters doesnt seem to affect their friendship either.

I thought I'd write as I'm ttc # 3 and have an almost 7 year old, and almost 4 year old. If we are successful soon our eldest will be close to 8, although its a big gap between them, she swears she will love it, and the girls were actually a deciding factor for me to continue having another one, as they are soo keen or another one! (and me too obviously!)

so I don't think its crazy or silly at all, besides I think all families are different and what is good for one isn't always great for another and you can make the family culture you want yourself
