Default Going to the movies solo

Have you ever? Was it fun or awkward. I never have I've always thought of it as a social thing but there's a movie I want to see tomorrow and no one is able to come so I'm thinking of soloing it

I'm going to the movies solo on Thursday for the first time. My car is in for a rego check which will apparently take 'a couple of hours' so I will be stuck at the shops with nothing to do. Hope something good is on!

I used to do this all the time! Love it! It's much better when you can scoff your m&ms without sharing. Plus the movies isn't very social.

I probably wouldn't go to a Sat night session alone... Actually I did do that once when I was living in London, it was just a small local cinema and when I called to book the ticket the lady said "aawwww maybe you'll sit next to a lovely young man" lol!

I actually like watching movies alone at home. I'd just be embarrassed buying one ticket and walking in alone. Hopefully I can be courageous and just do it once I'm in I don't think it would feel weird at all.

I never can understand why we decided sitting in the dark, staring at the screen and not interacting with others at all was a social activity. Always happy to go alone if I have the time!

I love going to the movies alone. I do it often. Don't be embarrassed, heaps of people are there by themselves. It's silently watching something in darkness, it doesn't require a friend.

I always go alone... i don't see the point in bringing a friend, it's not like you can talk thru the movie. lol.
