DH Is out Keeping Bees with the Next door Neighbour at Oberon today, and Mother nabbed my Breaky Muffins I forgot about so I Actually Only had to think of Lunch for me (In this house it is pleasure I LOVE). I Oppened the fridge and say 1.5L of Mashed pumpkin waiting to be turned into Scones. I over estimated the pumpkin I bough and I only need 2 cups so I instanly knew what was for lunch.. Mashed Pumpkin and Vegemite. So 1.5 cups of Pumpkin, 3 teaspoons of Vegemite and 10 minutes of Googling has me wondering.. How do you take your Vegemite? Do you only have a sliver on toast when sick? Perhaps a Thick Covering on Sandwiches daily? Or like me do you have a special treat that involves it?
I just want other Ideas from people how I can enjoy this Black gold now I have my Gallbladder out and can enjoy it again.
PS If there is enough left over Mashed pumpkin I will attempting to write my first recipe for Pumpkin and Vegemite Muffins.
