    Hugs to your daughter, I just had DS 1st birthday and didn't invite any play group friends, I couldn't invite one without the other either and our budget was tight.

    I think it's rude if your children are friends. Keep your head up and tell your DD that sometimes special people don't get invited because they are too special. :-)

    I hope ur dd is feeling better I would be hurt if my child was hurting too as mothers do.

    If i'm ever in that situation, i'll take my dd out for the day, do something special, just me and her... she can feel special in her own way. hugs to your dd.

    Army life was never like this when I was a kid. The wives were always supportive of each other, even if they didn't like each other and the army kids in the street were always invited to birthday parties.
