Yes it's Kimberlygals opinion and she may not have intended to be hurtful, but her opinion IS hurtful, unjust and bigoted.

That was written so well Miss Kitty well done. And what wonderful parents u must have to teach u this. Fortunately in this day and age bigotry comes from a minority of the population. Unfortunately it still exists as this thread has shown. Hopefully when my children are my age this view point will just be a sad time in history never to be repeated.

It's about time same sex couples got married, they should be miserable and married like the rest of us

But seriously, I'm a Christian, I go to church, I don't believe being gay is a choice and I believe that God doesn't make mistakes and he wants us all to be happy.

I can't believe in 2012 it's even a question, should two people be allowed by law to be married if they want to, absolutely. Doesn't it ruin the sanctity of my marriage if same sex couples are allowed to marry? Absolutely not. That's like saying someone eating a donut ruins my diet.

I couldn't give a damn if two men or two women want to live a life together and even have some legally binding contract or raise children together but I will not be lead to believe its natural (gd's will) and they should be entitled as it makes them happy...robbing a bank would make me happy... Stupid argument or because they love each other so do some siblings (wrong!!!!)

Wow. Who knew that marriage between 2 people of the same sex was on par with incest or bank robbery...

As for it being natural or not... it may not be natural to you, but it is natural to many.

The comparison is not fair as robbing a bank is stealing and it puts others lives at risk. Two people getting married affects no one except for those 2 people.

In regard to what is natural or as you put it, "God's Law", how does that then affect athiests (like me)? Should I not be able to marry? DF and I plan on getting married one day but it obviously won't be at a church. How does "God's Law" work with couple's that need intervention to conceive? Isn't that going against "God's Law"?

To those that have objected, I really respect that you've voiced your opinion, I just don't respect your opinion.

I support same sex marriage. I think everyone is entitled to their own opinions on this subject. I dont see the point of this discussion if someone posts something not liked, being singled out.

So, you support some form of union for same sex couples, but won't call it a "marriage"?

When heterosexual couples get married, isn't the spouse usually chosen because they make the other happy? How is it any different for same sex couples?

In answer to the OP, I whole heartedly support same sex marriage.
