Until recently, I would of said no...

But it occurred to me that I don't have a single valid reason why, perhaps other than that's what I was raised to believe, that being gay is "wrong", gays having children, even worse!.
However now that I'm 30 and a mature mother of two (come on at least disguise those giggles ) I see the world very differently. As long as something stems from love, how can that be wrong?
I think as a society we have far greater issues to contend with rather than worry about whose in bed wearing nighties and pajamas

Do you know what is really disappointing??

That 6 catholic bishops are mailing out 80,000 letters asking for people to actively protest AGAINST marriage equality, using this notion as their back up -""We have asked Catholics to seriously reflect and pray about the ramifications for current and future generations of legislation which completely redefines marriage," Bishop Prowse said.

    That's really revolting.

As it happens, I have made my own submissions to the senate inquiry in the last week, in support of same sex marriage....apparently a lot of people did

Hopefully most recipients of those discriminatory letters ignored them

Very much for it. I'm not gay, but if DD is later in life I want her to have all the opportunities everyone else has.

How can loving each other be wrong? I was going to get DD christened but when the church started being horrible about equal marriage I didn't want DD to have anything to do with them.

For it 100% they don't choose to b gay and deserve the exact same rights! With divorce rates so high, who r heterosexuals to dictate who can and can't commit to
    Marriage

Yes. Why shouldn't my Dad, brother, aunts and cousins have the same rights as me?

Marriage should be about love, not laws or religion or procreation.

I was just reading the book raising Boys and interestingly all of us start out as female. Ftr I don't think being gay is wrong at all but was thinking maybe it's something that doesn't develop the same as others??
