Definitely and it's nice to see only 11 people voted no as opposed to over 80 who said yes

I'm all for it it was not founded in religion, history just took it over as it did many other things to ensure the crown had control over its people.

As long as the two involved love each other then I see no issue with it.

I also wanted to point out to the people who have said no,

Would you feel differently if it was your child or brother or sister that was gay?

As stated previously, who am I to judge, or control your life no one has that right.

I wouldn't feel differently if my child were gay. I would certainly not love my child less.
I would honestly struggle with their decision. But to me, I would also struggle with the idea of them living with their (straight or gay) boyfriend/girlfriend/fiancé before marriage, or sleeping around.

I respect the right of people to have their own opinions but being gay isn't a decision. A decision denotes choice. Gay people don't choose homosexuality any more than I chose to be straight.

    Our laws need an overhaul.

We are a a supposed secular country - we need to continue to back up that notion!

..I personally do not EVER want to get married.
I would never dream of trying to take that right away from someone else though.

When people say, 'I can't fathom that people think this is wrong..' or 'I can't believe people think this way' in regards to opposing same sex marriage.
    - these people aren't THINKING for themselves, they are regurgitating words from an acient txt that has been manipulated by their 'shepard'.
    Simple as that.
..and no, I am not going to apologise if that 'offends' - because I am saying in defense of all the people I know and love, both on BH and in my life that have had to deal with these 'views' for their entire lives.
