    Default Lion King question

So we were watching Lion King for the 100th time last night, Just wondering does Mathew Broderick actually do the singing as Simba, or does someone else? If he does then why the heck didn't he start a singing career, his voice is freaking amazing!

I imagine he does do the singing. He was in the movie 'The Producers' quite a few years back and he sung in that. Think he may do some broadway stuff (please correct me if I'm wrong).

I don't think he does, I just wiki'd the soundtrack and for the songs adult Simba sings, I think it's JOseph Williams: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lion_King_(soundtrack)

I assume it is his voice, he does a bit of Broadway, he was in The Producers so I guess he gets to flex that muscle on stage.
