Only because you asked for opinions - I don't like Diesel. I like doing the test "could my son/daughter be anything with this name". With a name like Diesel it seems limited to an actor, singer or small time crim (not saying your son will be a crim you understand - just that's what the name reminds me of!).

That said, it is my opinion and if you love it you should go for it. I think Rocco is lovely.
DP's senior sargent at the police academy is named Diesel

    I think they match well

Neither are my cup of tea, but have never met a Diesel and the only Rocco I've come across is the one on my kitchen rules. Once you know someone and love someone with a certain name it changes it imo.

Not my cup of tea in the slightest!!

I did like another posters suggestions of combos with Diesel tho

Diesel and Cruz or Diesel and Jett 'go' much better than combined with Rocco IMO

I am not a fan because I am a traditionalist.

I also think that by the time they grow up his name will be more common so it won't be a problem for him at all.

So I say if you love it than go for it.

I think they are both very 'trendy'. Not my cup of tea but I could see lots of people would think they are cool names.

Personally I'm not really a fan, but only because they strike me as names that are going to become very popular soon. I try to avoid names that are rising in popularity because otherwise you could end up with a name that, while it's uncommon when your bub is born it's just as uncommon for every other bub at that point that gets that name *chuckle*.

I think they go well together, if you like it go for it!
