    Default need suggestions

Is there any good DVDs that will cover Austism and what it is how it effects the children and their behavior? How about ADHD ones? or SPD? People in my life just are not grasping exactly how these things effect my son and his behavior and how he must feel inside looking to get some DVDs so people can watch and maybe understand that my son is not just an disrespectful poo head that he takes things very literal and its not his fault he doesnt understand sarcasm and that when he has a friend this is a big deal and why he would be upset about change, or having to give up his only friend because someone else that doesnt like my son is friends with the same boy.

I found a great package of dvd's the other day on Autism.

Google Autism Essentials Dvds. Its 8 different dvds going through all different aspects of autism and how it affects your child .

Also I've found a few at librarys over the years too.

Hope you find something suitable .

Hmmm. The first DVD that comes to my mind is The Black Balloon.
It's a movie with Toni Collette in it, and her son is autistic.
It is close to home, and shows what it's like living with an autistic child, buuuuut probably not what you're looking for.

Check out the Sue Larkey website. She has heaps of great educational dvd's to buy.
