I cannot believe the amount of people in this thread who are talking about the Baby Sitters Club books! I loved them too, and when I "grew up" or thought I was too old for them, I got rid of them all as well. I have 2 girls now, 2 and 5 years old, plus a mystery gender-ed bub on the way, and I've recently started re-collecting the books as well... for my girls. LOL As if! I keep reading them myself. I am soo so glad I am not the only one doing it! Makes me feel less silly.

I always wanted to use Aizee or Billie for a girl. Malakai or Byron for a boy.

I don't hate any of the names now, but I don't think I'd use them (even if dh DID like them... He does not)

I still have the whole set of my bsc books from when I was younger. Think I might go get them out and have a read

Doh! And forgot to say - no, I did not call my DD that
Anastasia here too! With the same pronounciation

Neither of my DDs have that name either.

I don't think I had a boys name. Must have known I would have girls. JK.

    Lauren and Kyle.

In later years I liked Sapphire Whitney or Maheyla (wtf?!) and James. I used James for a pet kitty I had, and if DD had been a boy, she'd have been James as well.
