    Just healthy eating and exercise.
    I have lost 40kgs now.
    Was a size 24 and I'm now a size 10.

It has taken a while, but at least I won't put it all back on.
I had a bad month a few weeks back.
I was having many family issues, trouble with my husband and my daughter was having tests done all the time. I was stressed. I ate crap food and didn't exercise.
But I didn't put on any weight.

My advise for any one wanting to loose weight is eat good, exercise, change your life style.

I don't think following a diet ever helped me either as I would just fail.

Just having only healthy options in the house and making it a daily goal to do some form of exercise has worked wonders for me after many years or fad diets and strict eating plans.
Wow size 24 down to a 10! Well done that's awesome

sorry Pinkzy i love ya lol but I agree with the above. I put quite a bit of research into her after reading all this hype and agree with all the above. nasty catty robo-ashys who tear people apart if they dare challenge anything or ask questions. Plus, it's just a high protein, low fat low carb diet, nothing special or amazing just common sense. There are a million free ones just the same on the net.

The other thing that put me off was that she claims her 'look' (which I'm put off by anyway) is 90% diet 10% exercise, when really that's untrue. She is a fitness trainer and she is burning huge amounts of cals.

I actually agree with the basis of the diet 100%. It's the cost, the revolting "WE LOVE YOU ASHY EVERYONE'S JUST HATERS" members and the false claims she makes about how to achieve her look, which is by her own admission is partly plastic surgery.

This is no offence to those that follow her, each to there own but her whole program turned me right off

In all honesty, I think that a lot of diet programs are simply common sense, and don't have anything new on offer... but sometimes, there'll be some aspect of it that just makes it work for YOU, while the others don't. I think if you find a program that does that, and it's not a really unhealthy program, then really, go for it.

Sometimes the personality of the person who "created" the program is what works for people, more than just hte program itself. It might be the support of the followers of the problem. It might be a certain product the program offers members which seriously motivated you. Whatever it is, if it draws you in and gets you making good changes... then I think that's a positive thing.

Apart from really dangerous programs (like Kimkins - which is a spin on Atkins, but which has lead to the deaths of some followers), or programs which are very short-term and won't help people keep weight off (like cabbage soup style diets), I think overall, you can't generally say one "doesn't work," and others "do work." Depends on the individual I suppose... and clearly this working for you Pinkzy!

I'm actually really envious of the inner strength you have.
I've now lost 36kg thanks to the gastric sleeve!

It's been a long process, it's hard to "reset" your mind over food and to start loving healthy food and a balanced diet, instead of seeing it as a task.
My biggest hurdle has been exercise.. The gym I go to has child minding and my daughter loves interacting with other children (I'm a stay at home mum so she isn't in day care) and I make it a "must" to get to the gym so she can see her friends.
it's finally getting into my head now that exercise can be fun and a great way to meet other people.
I also got rid of our 2nd car.
Now if I need to go to the shops I walk (it's only just down the road)
Or take dd to the park ect I have no choice but to walk.
And once a week I have a treat night, it's usually a Saturday night, ill have what ever I feel like but just a smaller portion that what I use to have.
It has stopped me from pigging out a few times a week knowing I had to just wait to Saturday

When I get on the computer tomorrow I can post a pic she claims happened within a week... The change was so dramatic only a complete idiot would believe it..

But as others have said, if it works for you then do it.. Just make sure you are making a healthy lifestyle change and actually learning how to maintain it not just stripping it off.

lol if it were really as simple as typing in a couple of words into google don't you think everyone would be healthy and happy. Ashy gives you the tools for success and sets you up for life.
I cant see how you would put the weight back on if you were serious about you weight and lifestyle. It is heaps cheaper for me to buy food for us each week due to the fact all I am buying is herbs spices fresh fruit and veg and meat so it is worth while doing and there are all of us supportive girls in our forum is soooooooooooo worth while.

I already paid the $69.00 for mine yesterday. As pp said its nothing new and its not rocket science but it has refreshed me and I have started her program today. I actually love it and she is so easy to follow.

Again thanks for this thread ...... I am back on track so $69 was worth it!
