Lightbulb Your thoughts on maybe the routine circumcision should be encouraged and mandatory.

New studies suggest a lower prostate cancer percentage in men who are circumcised before their first sexual encounter.

Lower prostate cancer combined with a reduced incidence of HPV being transmitted and other health benefits, could this be an indication that as a society we might need to call for circumcision as a surgical vaccine, perhaps not RIC straight after birth but perhaps sometime months later.

Your thoughts please, on whether circumcision should be encouraged and mandatory and maybe your experiences.

    "Mandatory? HELL NO!!!!

“Some people say homosexuality is a sin. It’s not. God is perfectly cool with it, God feels the exact same way about homosexuality that God feels about heterosexuality. Now you might say, ‘Whoa, slow down. You move too fast. How could you have the audacity, the temerity, to speak on behalf of God?’ Exactly, that’s an excellent point and I pray that you remember it.”

Yes, I have that's where Abraham didn't have enough faith to believe his god so he raped his wife's servant/slave and they had a son - Ishmael who became the Father of Islam.

This is the passage where circ'ng becomes the cost for Abraham's lack of faith and seals the covenant between Abraham and his god. I suppose it was only fair that women having painful periods and birth was the price that women paid for Eves lack of faith that men should suffer so needlessly as well. It seems that the god of the bible was more interested in punishing people for their lack of faith rather than being an instructive loving father.

But seeing the New Testament was a new covenant between the god of Abrahamam and his people, the lesson in the old testament became instructive and reflective rather than law for the Christian faith, whereas they still remain law for the Jewish faith.

Did I do well? Do I get 10 points for managing to answer the question without checking with Father Google?

Hmmm there is nothing in that passage about prostate cancer or UTI's - it was about suffering and inflicting pain for the cost of lack of faith - all the more reason on my mind for NOT circ'ng my son or any other child IMO

Oh, if my memory was correct Abraham was about 90 or 120 when he was circ'd and Ishmael was also a young man and god called for the MEN to be circ'd. Seems THAT fact also got twisted, and they starting circ'ng babies who couldn't make the conscious decision to make a covenant with god

Do I get a bonus point?
