Default How much does your 4.5 yr old weigh?

My DD is 5 in July, I'm a little worried about her weight. She weighs 27 kg . She is off the scale for her height. She looks healthy to me but some people have been shocked at her weight...

My 5yo(Jan2012) is 109cm and weighs 22kg.... IF that helps you to compare she is very petite compared to most children though but healthy according to doc as I "was" always very petite with small frame.

My older DD would have been about 27-30kg at 4/5 but she took after DH who is very large framed and naturally stocky he is physically unable to get to the weight that is considered healthy for his height as is my older DD.

I would not worry, if my DD1 would get to the weight most kids her age are I would be accused of starving her.... the only people whose opinion matter is health professionals(to an extent)

My DS is 5 in June (!!) and weighs around 25kg. He has always been off the scale for weight.

Providing your DD is getting lots of good food, drinks water, lots of opportunity to run around a be a child and doesn't eat a ****** of take aways and soft drink then I think they will be fine. I think some people are just more solid.

My DD is 8 (sorry, I know you were asking for a specific age) and has just cracked 24kilos. Not sure of her height, she is on the short side.

But my advice is not to worry about the numbers. Look at what your child is eating and drinking, energy levels, and exercise. Try to not listen to negative comments from people focused on the numbers on the scale and only worry about health. Which is really what we all should be doing.

My ds is 6.25 (dec 05 baby) and is 118cm, and 19kg. Though he looks on the skinnier side he is very fit and active and constantly running.
My almost 3yo DS is only 11.2kg.
On the other end of the scale my 11yo dss is about 160cm tall and 50 kg...

My DS is 15kg but small like his mama, but DD is nearly 2 and she's 12. I think its just individuality lol.
