Default Birthday Party ideas for 5 year old

    Hi all,

So I've been searching online for a fabulous and entertaining option for my daughters 5th birthday. Perth seems to be limited to indoor play centres which I'm not really a big fan off (too many crazy screaming children running around!)

I'm looking into Scitech but hubby isn't keen. We are renovating so having it at our place is out of the question and it's a June party so indoors would be best I think.

There will be boys and girls (approx 18).

I would really appreciate any advice from Perth mum's who know of some great kids venues

    Thanks so much in advance.

my nephew (6) just had a star wars disco party (his choice). Everyone came dressed up as stars waars and danced and danced and danced under a big mirror ball. they had a ball!!

Another friend had a hip hop party, where ppl come and teach them a dance routine.

And another friend has a circus party, but I think that was kinda pricey??

For my DS' last birthday we had circus party. They taught circus skills to the kids for about the same price as a indoor playcentre. It was great! Otherwise you can always do stuff like roller skating, putt putt golf or ten pin bowling

Design a cupcake party. That's what dd is having this year for her 5th. She's on Facebook. Not sure where you are but maybe there will be someone or something similar you could do.

We had a cookie decorating party for dds 4th birthday last year and it was a huge success. It was a princess theme I made all the cookies at home the night before made up a whole pile of buttercream and coloured it different colours. They used thick paddle pop sticks to spread the frosting on the cookies then we had sprinkles an mini m&ms to put on top.
It also didn't cost the earth

Pool party? Our indoor heated pool does kids parties with supervision and food. Kids loved it.
