    Default is it bad to have sex while 36 weeks pregnant

    hi im just wondering if its bad to have sex while your 36 weeks pregnant thanks

    Not at all so long as your waters haven't broken as it can cause infections but if you have had a "normal" pregnancy go for it

    It should be fine unless you've been told to abstain for health reasons.

    It's fine. Even if it did trigger labour the baby is considered full term at 37 weeks so it would hardly even be premature, but to be honest I doubt sex will trigger labour if bub isn't ready.

    I said "doubt" but in fact I know sex won't trigger labour unless bub is ready

    Thats what my midwife said. She said that in a study women who had regular sex with their partners in the last couple of weeks of pregnancy had their babies closer to their EDD then those that didn't.
