    Default help! how to uninstall automatically installed update on computer

    this morning my computer automatically installed some updates. it has installed an update for internet explorer and i HATE it. does anyone know how i can uninstall it and go back to the old internet explorer?

    Its probably different on differnt opperating systems, but on mine, i go to control panel, click recovery, and for there it rpomts me through when/where i would like to restore the system from. If the update happened this morning, restore the system to yesterdays date

    BUT

    you first might like to find out how to turn off automatic updates, so that the computer doesnt just update again when you turn it on.

    Some updates are important and the system needs them. You can do a manual update and then you can remove the IE update each time. The control panel is where you can adjust the settings. You can switch the IE to classic view so it looks like the older versions I think from memory. I use Firefox anyways had enough of IE. You can roll back your settings to a date before the install as well but this will get rid of all the updates too so make sure you do a manual update after wards
