I had my ultrasound today, I have 9 follicles, two of which will probably be too small for retrieval. I'm thinking that's a bit below average???

Anyway, scheduled for EPU this Friday 18/5.

i too have just been reading and learning, when i had my u/s they were a little worried that the follicles on my left were too small but after the 2nd u/s everything was ok and i had 8 eggs collected, they were able to use 7, of which 5 fertilised and we ended up with 1 to transfer and 2 to freeze but i was so anxious in the lead up to epu and prior to et just hoping we would get a couple of good embryos, good luck with your epu

Apologies for not doing personals, when there is so much going on in the thread...

I had my second blood test this morning and we are still wondering... Friday's BT-HCG was 53, today's is 101 (progesterone is the same ) and another BT set for Friday...at least it is going up and hasn't stalled or gone backwards!! Just not at the rate or to the level's that Monash are happy with. I asked my FN what she thought and she was honest enough to say it could go either way...I'll have to get more pee sticks, because I can't wait til Friday!!! I still have no symptoms...I don't feel pregnant in anyway, shape or form.

capri_12 - if you are worried, call your FN, that is what they are there for and what you are paying for.

ertgirl - Good luck, I hope it is good news and nothing to worry about and yur hubby is ok. This is the last thing you need on top of needing to do IVF.

four2five - welcome and for great fert rates and lots of frosties... then what will you do?? lol

SL1009 - sorry to hear you are feeling low. Both of my (younger!!) siblings have 3 each and I love all my nieces and nephews to bits. The only time I have felt envious of my friends and family for falling preg is when I found out my first cycle was a BFN...that same day I got a postcard from my girlfriend in the US announcing the upcoming arrival of their second ... otherwise I seem to feel very happy with each new announcement for the miracles they are...I get more p1$$ed off that the local ferals breed like damned rabbits (my tax dollars at work) ... you know the type - walking skeletons, will missing teeth and listless eyes, with a ciggy in the corner of their mouth and a can of alcohol in one hand, pushing a stroller in the other and screaming at their 4 other children... I look at that and want to scream myself!! <rant over>
I know the type - grrrrrr

Ms Jo great result from your US - what bad timing for your FS to be away a I'm sure they'll put you in good hands!
I'm feeling very average - lethargic, bad period like pain, lots of bleeding (which is supposed to happen now - I was freaking out) lol! No more dizzy spells yet thank god, but just feeling generally crap, but positive all the same as we are doing what we need to do! BT tomorrow to determine my estrogen levels and then I start jabbing on Thursday - eeeek!

Its tomorrow and I am freaking out. I am dreading hearing how many eggs were collected.

I have been taking Vitamin E and L Arginine and my tummy does not like it at all.

Will be in touch after EPU tomorrow.
    Good luck with EPU xx

DP doesn't understand my emotions he thinks I'm upset with him, he doesn't believe hormones can effect moods, anyone elses DP or DH like that?
If this cycle doesn't work we have to see our FS again which I already made the appoinment easier to cancel as he usally has a 2 mth wait for appointments.
I decided to take an extra day off work to relax but back to work tomorrow after a week off its going to be hard to get out of bed, I also have acupuncture tomorrow which will hopefully help implantation.
    Good luck everyone.
How lovely that you had ET on mothers day - I really hope that you have bubba in your arms in time for next mothers day : )
