Oh no mrs jaguar I hope and pray I don't get any symptoms like that as I will be on it for a while. Very true about the after taste but it's bearable I guess..

Got in at around 1am this morning, and I've only had three hours sleep, plus around two or three hours in total of naps during the 24 hr transit.. but I actually don't feel too bad. It will probably hit me late this arvo though! Wedding went absolutely perfectly, only I got stupid jitters at the start of the reception which meant I felt sick all night and couldn't eat or drink anything much at all, but I've been told by a couple of past brides that that's fairly normal, lol.

Anyway, on a very exciting and scary note, I'm starting ICSI tomorrow! Well, the Lucrin at least. As you know I was planning on starting as soon as I could after getting home, and on Friday I decided to look up when CD 21 was for me, and realised it was Tuesday! I couldn't call the clinic from the UK, so I sent them an email asking if I'd be able to start on Tuesday. I never got a reply, so I rang them today to ask them again if I could possibly start tomorrow.. the nurse reviewed my file and called me back, saying to come in for my day 21 bloods tomorrow and pick up my Lucrin... holy crap! No rest for the wicked. DH (Yay, that's the first time I've typed that!) asked me if I felt "ready", health-wise and so forth. I honestly answered "not really", since I'm exhausted and my diet on the honeymoon has been far from good, but hey. I really really wanted to get a cycle in before we move to Brisbane, and I didn't think it was going to be possible, but now it is. So yay!

Hope everyone is going well, I will try and catch up on the conversation when I get a chance.
Congratulations on the wedding Sariele. I got married in September last year and had major jitters and hardly ate or drank anything either - it didn't matter though it was still the most perfect day. We started our second ICSI round as soon as we got off honeymoon too!! And I too moved to Australia from the UK, not Brisbane though, I'm in Melbourne - so we have lots in common - is this your first cycle?

Had acupuncture before and after, must say it felt good. Am going to rest for the next few days. Have pregnyl injection tomorrow, still having progestreone pressaries twice a day. Have 2nd pregnyl on Friday and back to clinic for mid-luteal bt(E2,P4). Kept my socks on in theatre, bit funny when you are practically buck naked.

    I'm officially pupo!

I met a lovely generous lady at the clinic this morning who was donating her eggs at epu today.

Will catch up on personals tomorrow, am off to bed now.

    to everyone
I love that you kept your socks on in theatre, how good are socks??!! Congrats on the ET hopefully you have a quick and not too stressful TWW ahead

EPU tomorrow and Acupuncture in the afternoon hoping this helps, I suffer quite badly after the very crampy struggle to stand up straight. I also wear socks in the theatre nothing worse than cold feet like Amp I does feel weird.
As for the TWW I have decided this time no reading of pregnancy books or websites I'm sure it just drives me insane and I just analyse every feeling or symptom. My Mum and Dad are coming to Visit from Perth in 2 weeks so have something to look forward to.
I also loved the idea of watching a TV series as there are a few I want to watch but haven't had the time.

Thanks! I hated the jitters.. I woke up with them and coule barely eat breakfast, then I was completely calm through getting ready, the ceremony and the photos, then sometime soon after we entered the reception it hit me again. I was so annoyed cause I really wanted to enjoy myself and try all the food and have a couple of wines, but nope, my stupid nerves had other plans.

Yeah, we honeymooned in the UK.. unusual choice of destination, plus we were on a coach tour which took away the romance, but it was still good. After we move from Perth to Brisbane and saved up a little we're talking of having a second mini-honeymoon in the Whitsundays or something.

Yep, this is my first cycle. I've got this weird thing where I'm kind of a bit worried because I don't feel nervous or anxious about it at all. I feel like I should be stressing about giving myself injections and stuff, but I'm just not! I guess that's good, but at the same time I hope it's not the opposite to the norm, i.e. if you stress about the injections heaps then you find out they're not so bad and it's all okay, but maybe with me because I'm not stressing it will be really difficult or painful or something, lol.

Same sort of thing happened to me - I was sick with jitters until I walked down the aisle I was fine and then the same thing happened before entering the reception and before the dances / speeches then I was fine, weird how it'll happens!!

That's great that you don't feel nervous or anxious, I haven't with any of my cycles either - I think it's because you know that every step every cycle is a step towards baby! I struggled mentally putting the first needle in it was very funny but when it was in I was fine it seriously was NOTHING like i expected and haven't had a problem since : )

Remember every step is a step towards baby : )
