    Hello Ladies,

I'm coming over to join you in the land of the Limbo.

was all ready to start this month, but my hormones where all over the shop due to some family stresses with a side of a car accident. My FS has recommended that we wait till next month. So the waiting begins again...

I have been doing accupuncture for 2 weeks and have noticed a little changes so far, nothing to right home about yet. My AF was a little different this week than usual. I think the accupuncture around the EPU and ET helps alot, well according to my lady.

    Have a lovely weekend

    Welcome Dreaming, DancingButterfly & Nala.

Girls, sorry I haven't been on for a few days & thanks for your caring. Life has just been super hectic! Anyway, so we had the appt with our FS on wednesday & we don't really know anymore than we did before the appt regarding the lesion on DH's testicle. Derek (our FS) said that he doesn't think it's cancer (that is such a scary word!) because in his opinion it doesn't have enough increased vasularity (blood supply) to the area. He then said, however that this is not his area of expertise & that it would be remiss of him not to investigate further. So, we have an appt with a urologist colleague of his who specialises in cancer & DH had to have another blood test to check his tumor markers. Our appt is on the 17th of April, so not too long to wait.

From a fertility perspective the latest bloods show that DH's testosterone is low & his eostrogen is slightly elevated. SO, Derek has put him on Tamoxifen, which is actually a drug that they give women with breast cancer, it is an eostrogen blocker. So, it should naturally push up his testosterone & push down his eostrogen which apparently could help with our sertolli cell problem. It could help the little spermies grow further along the growth cycle to be more mature. Go team sperm! Grow little guys grow. So, we need to postpone our cycle by a month or two to give this drug a chance to work, but I'll stick around here, if that's ok

How would you all feel if I change the title of the thread to include JUNE? Anyone have a problem with that? Just that it now looks like we'll be cycling in June now...?

Not at all, ertgirl, as I was going to be starting my cycle in the second half of May anyway, and also this week I was told by my FS that we are now doing a down reg instead of antag, so depending on how my cycles work out (with the honeymoon and everything), we may not be starting til June anyway. Hopefully not, but it's hard to say.

For those who have been recommended ICSI can I ask have you been told by your FS what your chances are naturally?

It's a question I never did ask.. partly cause I'm not sure I want to know or at least I don't want DH to know so he just gives up...

Just went to a baby thing recently, being there was hard enough yearning for our own, feeling the expectations an pressure of family and friends... feeling useless for not being able to..

Then someone asks that dreaded question 'so when are you having babies?' I'm so glad it was DH that got asked cause the way I've been feeling recently (just finished my 1st stim cycle) I think I would have snapped at them..

Dreamin - When my DF found out about his MFI a few years back (when he was still with his ex-wife), he thinks he was told that what with the terrible count, motility and morphology, he had something like a 1:10,000 chance per cycle of conceiving naturally. Now he's not producing any sperm at all, so yeah, something like 1:infinity these days.

    ertgirl:
I think my cycle maybe starting very late May also. Hard to know as the stim cycle will leave me even more unpredictable than usual.

    Sariele:
Thanks for sharing that info, I haven'thad the guts to ask that question myself yet, partly cause I'm not sure I want DH to know and I don't think he would ask it himself. I do like to know as much info as I can find out so I can be more realistic with myself.

I'm trying to encourage DH to freeze samples just in case. His confidence has increased about it because he has had some improvement, an that's great but I think it could just as easily go the other way and I'd like to have some backup.

    Hi!

Dreamin we also have MFI. 100% abnormal sperm in all analysis. Totally genetic related, no injury illness or lifestyle factors involved.
I also have endo and 1 blocked tube.

FS told me he never says never as miracles happen but we were less than 1% chance in a normal cycle with no assistance.

For us this is our only shot for biological bubbas

    I hate hate hate that
