    Hi guys!!!

welcome onto round two marttc xx hope you are feeling better after a bad day. Hugs!

Nala - our DHs get to put up with alot huh. In my experience I was fine during jabbing phase. My emotions went a bit crazy during 2ww and before I started with the pill. I got really flat on the crinone?! Hopefully your body cooperates!

Nrtee - hooray for jabbing!!! I am a fellow endo lady, great news that your resections have worked.

Afm - AF finally turned up early this morning.. Along with a smashing head cold! had accupuncture tonight so fx that reduces it feeling very sad and sorry for myself lol. Tea, hot water bottle and pjs.... Now for greys to.start!!

    Happy friday for tomorrow!

Oh my God I feel like hell today started getting head spins and feeling sick mid afternoon not sure if its the increase in Gonal F but certainly didn't feel like this the previous 3 cycles. Going for Acupuncture tomorrow lets hope it helps me feel a little better.
Oh well off to feel sorry for myself and curl up in bed.

Hello everyone! My DH and I are also starting our first cycle this month. We have been trying for a baby together for the past 4 years with many failed clomid cycles etc. The FS finally suggested trying IVF.

We are a very lucky couple that have both had one DS each from previous relationships both of our boys are pre teens. We know we are very lucky but we still have that desire to have a baby together and the frustration that comes with infertility. The FS says that I have secondary infertility related to my PCOS and without IVF we will not be able to conceive. My DH has had poor sperm results in the past but the recent ones have been good (I didn't know they could vary so much)!

After jumping all the hurdles such as police checks, blood tests ultra sounds etc we are finally starting our cycle. I stopped taking the pill on the 24/04 and have been sniffing synarel since the 20/04. I have a blood test on the 01/05 to check my E2 to see if I am ready to start my injections. If the are all good we are looking at a rough estimate of EPU around the 14/05 with a day 5 Embryo transfer.

We both have a lot of mixed emotions about the starting of this cycle and I am looking forward to being able to chat to you ladies who truely understand what is happening at each stage! Good luck ladies on all the cycles this month!!!

Welcome! I am bit confused about the whole police check thing with the posts on here, I am in the NT and you don't need ANY police or child protection checks to start IVF...? A bit concerning - if people don't need them to concieve naturally, I don't think anyone wanting to go through IVF should have to jump through hoops! (just my opinion)... I have my appt today to pick up the drugs and will start injecting from next week (currently on the Pill)... Scheduled EPU the week commencing 14 May as well! Am very nervous, but excited too. Dh & I have 1 child together (concieved naturally after trying for a year), she is 4 years old and gorgeous, but nothing since, FS says MFI - good quality, just not enough of them! Hoping (maybe naively) that we'll only have to have one shot.... Looking forward to being able to share our journeys!

Hi Girls, Wow this thread is moving fast. Too fast to do personals, but please know that I'm cheeing everyone on from the sidelines! I'm also not getting email updates about it, so sorry I've not been keeping up. But welcome to all the newbies

I'm feeling a bit better today. Have just decided to pull myself up out of the dumps till we see the cancer specialist next (15th May). Untill someone definitively tells me that DH has cancer, I'm just going to try to calm down & relax about it. In the mean time, our FS had wanted us to do a full stim cycle because of my age, but now we have to wait to see if DH has cancer & if he does then that is the end of all our fertility treatments with his sperm. SO, we are thinking of using our last frozen emby & just giving it a go... It just seems better than having it sitting there in the freezer, while we're waiting, not able to do anything. At my age, it jsut feels like every month we do nothing is a waste. We used to think we wanted more than one child, now I think we will consider ourselves very fortunate if we can just have one precious child at least...
