Adden, I agree with wunsi, estradiol seems fine. Mine is usually around 4,500-6,200 on day 8-10. Later in drug cycle it correlates with egg numbers and their maturity. But that seems fine to me. It will zoom up at one point.

    Dont stress

Sorry for all the questions, being a newbie sometimes I feel pretty clueless

Hey Nicsta - that is some serious egg numbers and serious fertilisation lovely!
    Well done you two!

And yep you will be a day 4 transfer. That is cool, my clinic does day 4s and day 5s! (and the occassional day 3 if requested).

As for information on progress that seems to vary clinic to clinic. I can ring mine today and get the day three report, but hopefully I wont hear from them again til Monday (cause that means we have one or more made it to blast - please please please universe, we made a deal...). Last cycle my FS and the embryologist called pretty much every day to give us an update. Because it was our first time with them and I was very anxious after bad experiences with the old clinic (well not really bad, but poor management of cycle /drugs etc).

No news in this case is definitely good news. And you have lots to work with, well done

Never apologise for asking questions!! We are all here to help
And we all have different issues, different ages, different paths and different clinics and different learnings, there is a lot of knowledge and experience here!

    Kick back and relax now
    xx

April that is some serious e2!
How did you pull up after that cycle?

Just had the ET. It was different from what I'd expected - so I have more questions. Sorry - you'll all be sick of this soon, if not already!

I had read that ETs are usually done with an ultrasound. Mine wasn't, and I didn't think to ask. Are yours all done with ultrasounds? I read that they were more effective if done that way, so I'm a bit worried now.

I also read that you usually lie down for 20mins after. I was told to sit up and get changed straight away, and there was no lying down. Again I'm worried that might not give the little blastocyst the best chance.

My FS told me NOT to preg test, even though I said I would. He just kept saying not to, and my BT is 22/6. Arghh! But everyone tests early... right?

The procedure was a bit sore, but not terrible.

And the embryo results are good!

So, I had 12 eggs. All mature. 10 fertilised. Had 1 put in. 3 frozen today, and they reckon there may be another 1 or 2 that might be okay for freezing tomorrow! That's a good result, isn't it? I was excited that there are definitely at least 3 to freeze, just in case.

Amy - how did you get on with ET today?
Hi Girl X don't stress - my last clinic didn't do ultrasound guidance but my new clinic do. I have never been advised to lie down 20 minutes after, have always got up straight away. Embies are put in so deep there's no way they would 'fall down' or go anywhere...your results are fantastic especially as you have a few to freeze. Good luck with the TWW it's he'll but try not to test early, you'll just make yourself even more confused if it is a BFP and upset if BFN

Nictsa what amazing results - well done you! The clinic will usually call the day before ET to let you know where you've got to go and what time etc unless you know that already. I haven't heard of a 4 day transfer before but lots of clinics do different procedures - if you're concerned just ask them why and I'm sure they've got a good explanation....ask as many questions as you need to we are all here to help each other as best we can : )

Transfer done, but was a mission getting in there, hurt a lot! Turns out I have a blockage to my cervix so Dr had to use quite a few contraptions to get catheter thru, ouch! Embryo was good & had started hatching so that was really positive, and we have 3 to freeze, maybe more :-) ... Doc reckoned we would have found it hard to fall pregnant with Dh's low count, interesting morning really!

GirlX your results sound great. I don’t remember having an ultrasound on my last blastocyst ET and I too got up and got dressed straightaway – my daughter was the result so try not to worry too much! Good luck with the 2WW.

Nicsta – wow 18 fertilised is outstanding!! Good luck for Tuesday. I have only heard of a 3 or 5 day transfer so not sure about the 4 day thing, sorry.

Amy glad the transfer is done though sorry it wasn’t as straight forward as it should have been. Sounds very positive though, good luck for the 2WW.
