Hey guys, I've been a away for a while and haven't had a chance to read all the posts. Will catch up in the next few days.
Really sorry to see some names from April thread, hopefully May is the month for you.
Oh and hello to newbies, I have been reading your situations and glad we can all go thru this journey together.
AFM I am worried at the moment, AF arrived last night (4 days early! What the?!!) and getting a little heavier today. Being Sunday and the clinic is shut, but BT tomorrow will be ok to get started?? I wasn't able to start my May cycle as my hormone levels where all over the shop due to family stresses and a car accident. I've been relaxed as I haven't been able to work as I need my car to do my job. Been away seeing my brother and pretty chilled at the moment, but now I am worried I will miss the round as I am not getting a BT on day 1.
I know it's only a small thing, but this will be my first cycle and nervous.
    xx

** put this in the April thread accidentally**

Weight is a pain in the butt... I have put on 8kgs in the last 8 months and finding it so hard to get motivated to loose any.

    Hi ladies!!!

2012year - welcome!! I know its daunting starting for first cycle but you have found a great place for support x what type of a cycle are you doing??

Nala - did you get to talk to FS yet? Fx honey!!

Ally - good on you. Portions are my killer at the moment. Espec dinner!!!! I have hit cardio at the gym hardcore the last few weeks. Will remember the stairs instead of the lift!!

April and Capri- it does suck but I am sure you are still both gorgeous!! I wonder if its the yoyo hormones? I went ott on anything sugar during my last cycle!!!!

Della - the headaches are horrible!!! Check with your nurse but mine said panadol is ok to take. I ended up needing a couple of times.

Megbob - sorry to hear about your bfn hugs x great news that you have some frosties ready to go!! This will be my first FET... No idea what to expect but agree will be much less intense!

Vent ahead.... Waiting for AF to arrive so I can start planning my next few cycles 3 days late now.
I had a chemical preg last cycle (5weeks) so imagine my cycle might be a bit confused?! Having the back cramps like normal but they have been around for the last week.... Any words of wisdom ladies?

    Xo

    Hi Gorgeous Girls!

Wow this thread is really pumping! Welcome to all the new girls since I've been on. I'll pop in & do personals later, but thought I'd update everyone as to why I haven't been on lately.
I've been a bit down to be honest. Last Tuesday's appointment didn't go as well as we'd hoped. The specialist was lovely. But we walked in & he said that "We have quite a serious problem here, don't we...?" He spent about 40 minutes with us & explained that it could very well be cancer & that the tumour marker tests only apply to certain cancers & that there are a couple that don't show up positive for tumour markers. He has put DH on a really strong antibiotic on the "off chance" that it may be an infection showing up (he doesn't think it is). He wants Simon to have a CT to find the undescended testicle as it is "at a greatly increased risk of cancer". And another ultrasound after 2 weeks on this antibiotic to see if the dark mass still shows up on ultrasound. I've been trying not to borrow trouble & take one day at a time but it is just so hard. We talked to him about our fertility issues & he said that if he had any thoughts at all that it is cancer then all fertility treatments using DH's sperm would be at an end. It is too dangerous to do TESE or biopsy as they risk spreading cancer cells to the surrounding skin. If the testicle needs to be removed they go in through another way apparently...
