Gampa, I had a headache, runny nose, sore throat, slight temp AND a UTI!!! The little bubba has to supress your immune system to burrow in apparently (so your body doesn't treat it like a foreign object and attack)... Being unwell can be a really good sign of a strong pregnancy!
I've never been so happy to have a cold! Ha ha... But then again, fair chance of that anyway at this time of year really. 😜
In your opinion what does implantation feel like in your opinion? I'm borderline google now...lol!
The discussion tonight ladies makes me smile! Good on you all and to everyone!
Well, Im hoping I have just done my last jabs. Fingers crossed we are good to go for trigger tomorroe night
Second scan to look at follies in the morning.
Breathe Sel breathe!
Hey ladies sorry for being MIA. I've been sick and super stressed but finally ...... IM OFFICIALLY WAITING FOR AF I start jabbing when my period turns up in the next 10 days
So excited its our first cycle!!!
Congrats to all the bfp's and hugs to the ladies that need them
Ally, good luck hun, I hope your first cycle goes better than mine has so far. I was very excited to start too, it's a good feeling isn't it.
So ladies, I was wondering when is the best time to POAS to see if the trigger has left your system? I bought some FRERs today but I don't want to waste them, so I was thinking about how long I should hold off to check this. I POAS on Thursday, the morning after my trigger, and obviously got a very strong BFP where the test line was as dark as the control line. I was going to test again maybe Wednesday, which would be one week after the trigger... do you think the line would be pretty faint/gone by then, or should I maybe wait til Friday (7dp1dt)? I just want to make sure I know when the trigger is nearly gone or completely gone before I start testing for real. I am a POAS addict so I know I will probably start testing too early, and I want to do my best to make sure I don't lead myself on with a false BFP.
Thank you so much! I called my nurse and she was concerned. Ended up on Complete bed rest and was told to take nurofen on Sunday morning. Its a bit better today, can breathe properly and move a little.
Is ET likely to cause similar pain or stir up this again?
I think it's different for everyone. All my swelling had completely gone by the time I went for a day 5 transfer and I found the ET less uncomfortable than a pap smear, no problems at all.
Others on this thread have had some cramping with ET, and I felt some tiny twinges in there for 2 days after, but I liked to think that was the emby settling in.
Take it easy Gekko, rest up!
