    Mmm hearty vegie soup with toasted foccacia fingers.
    And self-saucing chocolate pudding or golden syrup dumplings. Lol now I want them! Off to do some cooking!!

    We always always have one of the above on cold, dismal, rainy days.

    Ooohh yes! Golden Syrup Dumplings! A childhood fave! My DH had never had them before until I made them for him one dreary day!

    My rainy day fave's are: a big bowl of steamed spinach with garlic butter or baked beans on toast or bangers and mash with lots of brown onion gravy. YUM!

    I love anything that warms you up from the inside..I love rice dishes and stews with dumplings...YUM

    And desserts are Apple crumble or pie..sticky date pudding or self-saucing chocolate pudding..YUM!
